In beet factories juice from diffuser is limed with calcium hydroxide and carbonated in two stages. Carbon dioxide is added in two vessels and pH drop. After the first vessel, juice is filtered to remove the formed calcium carbonate precipitate. After the second vessel a second filtration is made.
